Either dollar is acceptable throughout this island nation and the Bahamian dollar’s value is linked to that of the US dollar. The Islands and Cays are beautiful and free of industry. The natural habitats have been maintained and are as pristine today as the day they were discovered. Tourism is greatly appreciated, as it is the backbone of the island chain.
